Very tasty food here! Brought the family here and everyone raved about it. I'm fact, my mom liked it so much that she went back the following week! One thing I will say is that it was a bit on the salty side. Maybe they were just heavy handed that day or maybe it's because the item my husband and I ordered had French fries in it, but just a bit salt heavy for my taste. I also prefer when the cheese inside a burrito is at least a bit melty, but this one had cheese that was still cold and I wish it was warm to mesh better with the other ingredients. Can't stress enough though that the full family really enjoyed this spot. So I would for sure go back and try more items. In our party of 5, 3 of us got California burritos (two with carne asada and one with shrimp), a Crunchwrap, and a beef burrito. I didn't get to try the Crunchwrap, but the person that got it really loved it, so I would put this on the top of my list to try it on my next visit! Chips and salsa were very tasty, came out nice and warm and the salsa was just spicy enough. If you're in the area, I'd say this spot is for sure worth a try! And it seems like the Crunchwrap is an excellent choice!

I am a transplant from San Diego and I really, really, really miss the Cali / Baja style Mexican food. This place fills that void left in my soul. The only thing missing is the salsa bar. I usually order the Baja fish tacos and the surf and turf burrito, and split them with a friend. It gets packed at lunch time, but order online for pick up. The parking is a bit tight right in front, but there is plenty of parking around the side.

So excited to have California Baja Mexican food close by! We had the shrimp taco and fish taco and ceviche and salsa trio with chips- all delicious! My only complaint is that while flavorful, the salsas did not have any spice everything is mild, maybe they have some I can ask for? But the quality of the food was awesome, we will be back!

Carrera's should be voted best taco shop in Greenwood Village! Staff are always friendly and food comes out fresh and delicious every time. The shop is tiny and always busy but they are an efficient team and pump out orders like a well oiled machine. Everything on the menu looks delicious, I have had a few different menu items and they didn't disappoint. Today I got the rellano burrito with asada, let me tell you that is now my new favorite burrito! That thing was massive and so had amazing flavor! If you haven't tried Carrera's yet you better put them on your must try list!

Carrera's Tacos is one of the best taco restaurants in my area. The flavors are amazing and the attention to detail with the toppings (just the right sized cut up onions, flavors in the meat, mix of ingredients) is spot on. One of the items I tried here that is really unique and delicious are the taco shells made of cheese (amazing). I like the open kitchen concept and you can see them make the food right in front of you. The only downside to this place is that the prices are a bit high, and I will definitely come here sometimes but too expensive on a regular basis.

Huge huge huge fan of Carreras. Best so cal style Mexican food in CO. This place makes actual burritos the actual right way. I'm from San Diego and this is the first spot I've seen that comes close. None of this smothered bullshit. Smothered burritos are wet soggy rags that don't deserve to be associated with the word burrito. A burrito is eaten with your hands not a fork and knife. We stop by regularly for the bevy of burritos on the menu. The crew that runs the place is a couple of homies from chula and san ysidro. Meaning they know their stuff. The burritos are no frills and absolutely delicious. They also have a slew of fries and tacos and tostadas etc. All of its good. And the prices are super reasonable. The folks at Carreras just care about showing denver what's up in SD. My only regret is not discovering Carreras earlier. Highly recommend the carnitas burrito. It hits the spot. Can't wait for my next stop in for a carnitas Louisville slugger.

tiny spot near pindustry that did not disappoint. PS: parking is a b. once you enter, we encountered a line, but they were pretty expedient to take orders and send one on his way until they call yer name to grab yer grub. the aroma permeated the small restaurant and made my every salivary gland dance in anticipation. service was pretty quick and you know yer in for a treat when everyone working is latino. three letters: Y-U-M! i had a vampiro taco with shredded beef. coulda used more sour cream, but still happy with the portion and savory flavor. the kiddo had a carnitas and a birria vampiro taco. those were pretty spot on as well. so tender and flavor-packed as well. we requested the salsa on the side, in order to savor each flavor separately. we preferred the green- it was refreshing and flavorful, whereas the red was more spicy and smoky (yet very tasty!) kiddo gave his surf n turf burrito a 6 of 10. he didn't care for the fries within the burro. we highly recommend this establishment!
